Am I recalling correctly that the Effects Editor is now MU128 compatible? Do you think this would work with the other MUs like the MU2000?
I am missing the Effects Editor for the Motif Rack ES, but since I just press a few buttons to turn on delay, then hall 1 reverb for most everything, it's not like it's slowing me down.
MU?
Re: MU?
The Effect editor is designed purely for the VL70m 4 effect blocks...
Many Yamaha synths have more effect blocks/parameters..which are not handled by the VL-Wizard.
With other words, the effect editor in the VL-Wizard will not handle effects of the MU....only these that have common sysex commands...
You can however use the handy tool of the VL-Wizard to store special user-sysex. You can for example include your preferred MU effect block sysex commands which force the MU effects into the settings you want...
Each time you did send a VL voice you can send this MU-effect block sysex . This avoids the need to push buttons.
I might consider in the future to expand the effects editor based on the selected Yamaha synth...but this is a lot of work...while I prefer to focus on the core VL... ;-)
hope this clarifies

Re: MU?
Aha, I hadn't thought of using the sysex like that, thanks Rudy.
